Wearing many hats.

I joined the StoryBots team as a production artist in the early stages of the series’ development and continued working on many seasons of the Netflix shows that came afterwards. My roles included animation, design, compositing, storyboarding and directing. I contributed to a range of projects including the series, song videos, children’s apps and animated iPad books.

Song Videos.

Here are some educational song videos I helped make. I created all the designs, animations and compositing!

The Number 8

Baby Teeth

Sand

The Internet

Series Episodes.

I also helped on many character animations for the Ask The StoryBots series. Here’s an example of some 2D characters I rigged and animated in After Effects. I was responsible for all the birds in this sequence!

Learning App.

Collaborating closely with the app’s developers, I rigged and animated characters using Spine for the StoryBots children’s in-class learning app.

These animations needed to be customizable with replaceable accessories such as hats, necklaces, glasses and interact with a variety of different assets like food, balls, instruments and more.

Black props replaced by many different 2D assets.

Accessories follow animations by attaching to the character’s rig.

Children’s character was personalized in-class with pictures provided by their parents.
